| Preheat oven to 425° F. | |
| Sift together in a large bowl: | 1 1/4 C. yellow cornmeal |
| 1 1/4 C. all-purpose flour | |
| 4 tsp. baking powder | |
| Mix in: | 1 egg |
| 4 oz. chopped green chilis | |
| 8 oz. creamed corn | |
| 1/2 C. milk | |
| 1/4 C. olive oil | |
| 2 oz. shredded cheddar | |
| Place in greased and floured 8" x 8" pan and garnish with: | |
| 2 oz. shredded cheddar | |
| Bake 25-35 minutes. Serves six. | |
